There's always something to do in your garden. Here are some timely tips.
PERENNIALS:
Lightly prune perennials for repeat blooming
ANNUALS:
Keep annuals well watered, prune when needed.
Fertilize when roots are wet.
LAWNS:
If lack of rain water lawn deeply, one inch per week.
PRUNING:
Dead limbs should be removed anytime during the
year.
COMPOST:
Use oak leaves for mulch in the garden or add
them to the compost pile.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Clean out the shed, sharpen the tools, and prepare
for next month's gardening chores.
